LUNA ROAD LIGHTS

Luna Road LLC specializes in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the new high tech “cat’s eye”.

Unlike conventional retro reflective road markers, Luna Road lights contain LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes).

Each Luna solar road light is fitted with a solar panel, which captures and saves the sun's energy. During night time the stored energy is used to power up the Luna road lights.

The lights when laid on the road illuminate rather than reflect, are solar powered and provide night-time visibility.

Spreading the use of solar technology will create an eco-friendly trend all over roads in different nations. Luna believes in saving lives, preserving the environment and beautifying night-time streets around the globe.

Simply put, Luna Road will light the way.

VISIBILITY – The Primary Problem resulting in Road Fatalities

Visibility reduction, when combined with other variables, creates a major problem for drivers during the night time.

90 % of a driver's reaction depends on vision.

During the night time there are fewer visual cues. This causes a reduction in distance visibility. Therefore you are unable to “average” effectively while driving at night
Other Contributing Factors are:

  • Fatigue
  • Reduced Levels of Concentration which can induce slower reaction times
  • Poor weather conditions such as heavy rainfalls or fog

The Above Creates a scenario where:

The risk of dying in a crash at night is nearly three times as compared to daylight hours.
